Stampin Up has put their new Stitched Framelits out for sale now instead of waiting for next years catalog.  Ovals, squares and circles come with the set (4 of each for a total of 12).  All the framelits come with a stitched look around them, adding the perfect detailing to your project.  In addition, they are offering several stamp sets that go perfectly with the framelits for 25% off.  Some from the Holiday catalog and some from the Annual catalog.  Above is the flyer showing the sets that are on sale.  The 25% off sale runs through the end of the month.

onlineex_flash-shareable_nov2116_sp   Let me recap some of the deals I think are great:  The Big Shot Magnetic Platform will be 35% off on November 28th for 24 hours.  The regular price is $40.00 and on that sale day will be $26.00.  That’s a great deal for this must have.  The Holly Berry punch, regularly $18.00 will be marked down all week to $10.80.  The Stitched with Cheer project kit is also marked down all week from $24.00 to $14.40.  This is really a great deal as you can make 18 cards for the holidays.  You do need some additional supplies like ink, stamps and adhesive, but if you are local, I can provide them if we can get together to assemble the kit together.  Stampin’ Up’s holiday card kits have been awesome in the past and this one is no exception.  If you have ever wanted to try Paper Pumpkin, now is the time as there are a couple of kits (and some refills)  being offered at 30% off.  If you become a paper pumpkin subscriber I also provide additional materials to make some extra goodies with the kits.  The Heart confetti border punch is also available all week for 30% off which is a must for Valentines’ projects.

STAR OF LIGHT CARDS

Here is a card made from the stamp set Star of Light from Stampin Up.  I used pool party and sweet sugarplum as the colors with frosted metallic sequins which come in the colors of soft sky (very close to pool party), sweet sugarplum and silver.  I used the pool party and sweet sugarplum glitter ribbon as well.  Then I added a few rhinestones .  I just love these colors together and was inspired by the two glitter ribbons and sequins that I had.  This is a beautiful stamp set that comes with 21 stamps including greetings.  There is also a matching set of dies which includes 7 dies (see the next card below for use of die).  This is such a great value and even better when you buy the two items together as a bundle.  You get 10% off when you bundle.

This card was inspired and CASEd from Renee Torres and uses the same stamp set, Star of Light.  In this one I used two dies from the Starlight Thinlits that match the stamp set.  I used the same colors as the first one above.  I stamped the star on pool party and then cut it out with one of the dies and cut the second layer of the star in white using another of the dies. I also used the Frosted Metallic Sequins on this card.

This last card is also made from the Star of Light stamp set. Here I used grey and pool party and the design was from the CASEing Tuesday challenge which used the card on page 48 of the Holiday Catalog (far left) as the sample.  I used the large star stamp and added rhinestones to it.  The layers are some DSP (no longer available) and the pool party glitter ribbon (on sale in our clearance rack for under $3.00).  Then a layer of grey with the sentiment on it.  I embossed the lower pool party layer with the Falling Snow Textured Embossing Folder found in the 2016-2017 Annual Catalog.

HALLOWEEN–SWEATER PUMPKIN AND CARDS

20160912_13154020160912_13150520160912_131449 Aren’t these adorable!  They can be made with a sweater or a stretchy shirt.  These were made from the sleeve.  You can make two to three pumpkins from one sleeve.  From the middle of the shirt you can make one big pumpkin.  Cut the sleeve into two or three pieces.  Sew the bottom with a gather stitch and gather, turn inside out to do this.  Do the same at the top opening and gather but leave a hole at the top to stuff it.  Stuff and pull all the way tight and then sew down the middle so the top indents some.  Hot glue a stick in the middle, add some buttons and a bow with rope or whatever you want.  Thanks to Debbie Martin for showing us how to do this today.

These cards were made from products from the new StampinUp Holiday catalog for 2016.  The first one is a peek-a-boo card.  When you open it, the greeting slides up to the opening (oval).  The DSPaper and the string are from the catalog.  The mummy card is a shaker card.  This halloween stamp set, called Cookie Cutter Halloween is adorable and pairs with the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set that has a matching punch with it.  You can also use the punch to punch out four adorable figures that come in the Halloween set.  The stamp set, the paper and the string all come from the Holiday catalog.  The third card uses an embossing folder that looks like a sweater and gives a 3D effect to the card.  The stamp is called Halloween Treat and the Designer Series Paper and the black and orange paper also come from the catalog.  There are many more items that are just as cute in the Holiday Catalog.  If you don’t have a catalog yet and would like one (and you don’t already have a demonstrator), just leave a comment on this post and I will get one to you.  You can also email me at darstz@hotmail.com.  To see the catalog online and to shop in my store, go to http://darleneseitz.stampinup.net.

20160818_132918 Here is  a card made with materials from the new Holiday Catalog which goes live on September 1st.  The stamp set used is the Cookie Cutter set which comes with a matching punch.  DSP from the new catalog Candy Cane Lane.  Trinket and twine also from the catalog.
