Caseing Tuesday for July 3, 2018

Current hostess code is DGWJFYWA

Here is a card using what I would call a WOW stamp set called Beautiful Day, which is in the 2018-19 annual catalog. I cased the card based on one shown in the new catalog on page 23. See my card and catalog card below.

I used the following products and techniques.

1. Melon Mambo card based stamped using the set Touches of Texture (stamped with Melon Mambo). 2. Watercolor paper colored with Melon Mambo, pear pizzazz and old olive. Rhinestones are added as embellishments. 3. Beautiful day flower stamped on vellum, embossed with black powder and colored with Melon Mambo and Old Olive blends. (Turn the vellum over and color). 4. Greeting stamped from set Picked for You, on Melon Mambo and embossed with black powder. Embellishments from Share What You Love suite. 5. Side boarder using actetate sheet with white design. (Retired product, use any boarder of your choice.)

These products can be found in my online store at darleneseitz.stampinup.net. Please use hostess code DGWJFYWA when ordering.

CASEing Tuesday for June 19, 2018

I had fun working on this week’s card. I used a new stamp set and dies from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog. Here is my card and the card cased from the Annual catalog.

I dragged the craft white ink pad across the small blue layer instead of the card base. I used the Sea of Texture stamp set and matching dies. This is a fun set to play with. For the trim on the small layer, side; I let the sea net hang over the edge.

The colors I used are Pacific Point and Soft Suede. Rather than cutting out the sand dollar with the dies, I embossed it using the new Big Shot Embossing Mat and the die. This product doubles the use of your dies and is quite inexpensive and can be found on page 222 of the new catalog. I also wet embossed the greeting in white and popped up some of the cut outs with dimensionals.

Please join us every Tuesday and case a card and post on the facebook page:

CASEing Tuesday for June 13, 2018

I’m back! Sorry it has been so long since I’ve posted. This week’s card is based on the card shown in the new Stampin Up annual catalog (2018-19), page 13. See a picture of both below:

I struggled a little with the colors and set to use but settled on my new go to Love What You Do from the Share What you love bundle. I really love this suite and have used it a lot.

I used the colors Berry Burst and cut out some flowers from the Share What You Love paper, leaving a splash of Mint Macaron. The dolly is also from the bundle .

I hope you enjoy the card. The Suite of products is on page 176-177 of the new Annual catalog.

Happy Crafting,

CASEing Tuesday card for May 15

I’m a little behind so here is my Tuesday card on this Friday evening. It is based on the card shown below.

I turned the card and used the new Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper for the oval. I used the Basket Weave embossing folder which was a sale-a-bration item and will be available in the new annual catalog come June 1. I also used the leaf punch, stitched framelits, tranquil tide paper & ink, along with a layer of mint macaron which is a returning color available again in the new AC. Other items used are clear gem embellishments, vellum paper and copper washi tape.

As I mentioned, the new Annual catalog is available to order from on June 1st. If you would like a catalog (and don’t already have a demonstrator), just email me your address (darstz@hotmail.com) and I will mail one out to you. You can also see the new catalog in my online store effective June 1st. Hello everyone: Glad to have you with me this morning. Here is this weeks’ card and the Cased card

Great layout and I used the same stamp set and some of the same other products. Here I used the in color Tranquil Tide. I used the acetate foil sheets, a white vellum like piece and a piece of the Picture Perfect suite DSP. The stamp set is the Happy Celebrations set which will be retiring on May 31st. I highly recommend this set with it’s large greetings. Order now while supplies last. I also used white accents on the card.

CASEing Tuesday card for 4/24/2018

Current HOSTESS CODE: XDABTPR.

Hi Everyone: Hope you are doing fine. This week’s card is CASEd from page 10 of the Occasions Catalog. See both cards below:

My card uses a white card base with a purple layer. The Designer Series Paper is from the Delightful Daisy pack which will be retiring. I used the Celebrate You thinlets (which will be carrying over to the 2018-19 annual catalog) for the Amazing die cut which is in Calypso Coral. The leaf die cuts are from the Petals and More Thinlets which will also carry over . I did use some vellum die cut leaves from the Wildflower Wishes paper pumpkin (you can always cut your own or leave out). I stamped Amazing on the lower half and added the You tag. Silver metallic thread and pearl and coral embellishments were also used.

Please join us every Tuesday as we case the catalog.

Thank you for joining me on my blog this Tuesday.

Caseing Tuesday Card for 3/27/2018

Today’s card is almost an exact copy of a card shown on page 94 of the Annual Catalog (the pink square card). The only thing I changed was the color. As you can see, I used Tranquil Tide, a beautiful new in-color. Here is my card and below it a picture of what the catalog card looks like.

For my card I used a set from the annual catalog called Floral Phrases (page 95) for the stamping down the sides of the DSP panel. For the greeting, I used a stamp from the set Perennial Birthday, which can be found in the Occasions Catalog on page 16. I also used a greeting from that set for the inside.

I used several other products from page 95 of the A.C.. The DSP is called Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper Stack and has prints using all the 2017-2019 in colors. I used a bow from Bitty Bows and a new punch in the annual catalog called Starburst for the round greeting accent. That’s it for this quick and simple card.

CASEing Tuesday Card for this week 3/20/2018

Hi everyone, Here is this weeks’ CASEing Tuesday cards. I did two very similar ones. The cards are based off the card on page 6 of the occasions catalog (the one with the flowers). Here are a picture of my cards & the catalog card

I changed up the second card a bit but the first one is very similar. I used the Fruit Basket Bundle which comes with the stamp set and a pack of four tiny punches, strawberries, pineapple, pear, and a melon. They are so cute and a great way to add accent and dimension to your card. The DSP is called Tutti-Frutti and comes in 6 x 6 and there is 48 sheets filled with colorful fruits and patterns.

Don’t forget Sale-A-Bration is still going on until the end of March. You can earn free products with a qualifying order. See my on-line store for details. Here is a link to the store darleneseitz.stampinup.net

CASEing Tuesday Card for this week 3/13/2018

Sorry I have not posted the last couple of weeks but here is this week’s card.

It is cased from the card on page 22 of the Occasions Catalog. See below

I changed it up some by adding more layers and color, plus placed the items a little differently. I also added rhinestones.

The card uses Petal Passion Suite products found on page 23 of the Occasions Catalog. The stamp set and dies can be purchased as a bundle and you can save 10 %. The wood mount product code is 145973 and clear mount is 145974. I also used the Petal Passion DSP and added color with the Stampin Blends. I used basic black, melon mambo and whisper white card stock.

If you would like to purchase any of these products or any Stampin Up products, please visit my on-line store darleneseitz.stampinup.net

Thanks for visiting my blog and happy crafting.

CASEing Tuesday Card for this week 1/30/2018

Discovered this never posted! Here is last week’s card. It is based off the card shown on page 42 of the Occasions Catalog. See below for a picture of both.

I used basically the same concept but different colors and stamp set. I used the Bird Banner stamp set for the main focus (Bird & greeting). I used the Stampin Blends for the coloring. I also used Woodgrain DSP, an embossing folder for the Melon Mambo banner, Powder Pink ink for the “Thank You” on the white banner, Triple Banner Punch for the bottom of the banners, white twine for the bow, Stitched Framelits for the circle, and coordinating sequins as embellishments.

I cut the Bird out by hand and popped it up on dimentionals. If you would like to buy any of the products used to create this card, go to my on-line store at darleneseitz.stampinup.net. Sale-A-Bration is still going on and for each $50. order, you can receive a free product of your choice from the SAB Catalog. SAB is also a great time to Host a workshop or join Stampin Up. There are additional perks as well.

I hope you have enjoyed this weeks card and will join us on the Facebook page CASEing Tuesday.
